Linda Jean Singletary, age 71, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. She was born July 11, 1948 in Barwick, GA to Pete Vinson and Emogene Sloan. Linda worked as a bank teller for many years, loved puzzles, reading, the beach, the Avon Park Moose Lodge, family and friends. She was known as “Boss Lady.” Linda attended Florida Avenue Baptist Church in Avon Park, FL. She is survived by Daughter - Sheila Lozier; Brother - Paul Vinson; Sister - Cindy Vinson Graham; Grandchildren - Christina Brackett, Jeffrey Lozier; Great Grandchildren - Thomas Brackett, Robert Brackett. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park, FL. Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Avon Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
