Linda M. Ruscher

February 12, 1949 — June 4, 2021

Linda M. Ruscher, age 72, of Sebring, FL, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021.  She was born February 12, 1949 in Oil City, PA to William and Adeleen MacBurney.  She was a Homemaker, worked in pottery, dental assistant, store manager, office manager and many retail jobs, until her retirement in 2008. She was of Catholic Faith, and has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 2012. She was a 33 year resident of Fairport (Pittsford) NY, and a 30 year summer resident in Clayton, NY, Thousand Islands on the St Lawrence River.  Linda loved anything to do with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio State, lighthouses of the Thousands Island, NASCAR, playing in her High School Band, her bingo outings and Amerks hockey. She loved being a hockey mom, fishing and boating, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of ELHS alumni, Clocktower Association, NRA, and former HOA officer and many groups that loved Fiesta China. Linda worked for a pottery store where they made her beloved Fiesta Ware China. She would often look at the underside of plates and cups to see if she had a hand in making them. We’ve probably all ate off them at restaurants. Linda learned to water ski at Lake Austin in Ohio at the age of 7. She quickly found that 2 ski’s would slow her down.  Linda is survived by her Husband – Jim Ruscher of Sebring, FL; Son – Matthew Ruscher (Jennifer) of Rhode Island; Daughter – Lindsay Evans (Jerrick) of North Carolina; 4 Grandchildren – Tyler; Jordan; Logan; Leila; 14 Siblings; and numerous Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Interment will be held in East Liverpool Ohio at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made in her honor to Heartland Horses.org.
