Linda Gail Martz

Linda Gail Martz, age 63, of Avon Park, FL, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2022.  She was born November 7, 1959 in Avon Park, FL to James E. and Alma E. (Osteen) Varnes. Linda worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, she enjoyed knitting, watching game shows and the companionship of her dog, Bella. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She was preceded in death by her Daughter – Nichole Sevigny; and Brother – Johnny Varnes. Survivors include her Daughters – Brandy Gaffey (Louis) of Sebring, FL; and Melinda Kent (Gene) of Herber Springs, AR; Brother – James Nelson Varnes (Elaine) of Caledonia, MS; Sister – Dorothy Sphaler (Randy) of Avon Park, FL; 12 Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery.
