Linda Marie Bond

Linda Marie Bond was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 28, 1950 to Donald and Vivian (Kresge) Bond. Vivian had graduated from King’s College and Donald still had two years to go. When he graduated, the family moved to New York so he could attend Bible Baptist Seminary. As soon as he graduated, the Bonds joined the Association of Baptist for World Evangelism and God led them to serve in the Amazon area of Peru. So, they lived for years on a houseboat there, traveling by launch up and down the Amazon, starting with churches. At age 15 Linda came to the USA for 10th grade, and graduated from Dublin Christian Academy, a Christian boarding school in New Hampshire. She attended the King’s College, then in Briarcliff Manor, New York, and earned a BSED in 1972. She also earned a Master’s in Education from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1977. Linda taught for 30 years at Arlington Baptist School in Baltimore, Maryland. For three years she taught 4 ^th grade, then two years of middle school, and for the next 25 years she taught high school Spanish. God then led her to continue teaching high school Spanish for 9 years at Fredericksburg Christian School in Virginia. She then retired, and her parents moved from their retirement home in Maranatha Village, Sebring, FL to assisted living, she moved into their home in order to be near them, since they lived in Maranatha Manor in the same Village. Her parents went to Heaven in 2015 and 2016 and Linda continued living there and found God’s blessings on her life a constant joy.
