Lily Pinneo

LILY "PENNY" PINNEO Lilly "Penny" Pinneo, age 95, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Newark, NJ on February 21, 1917 to Frank Wilcox and Mabel Irene (Skilton) Pinneo. She was a Missionary, joining SIM in 1946 and retiring in 1985. She worked in Nigeria as a Nurse Anesthesiast Midwife and caring for Missionaries. She was a graduate of Maryville College, Tennessee, Moody Bible Institute, Chicago and John Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebring and a resident of Sebring since 1995 coming from Rochester, NY. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the SIM Chapel at 10:00 AM with graveside services at Pinecrest Cemetery at 11:30 AM with Rev. Darrell Peer officiating.
