LILLIAN L. SMITH Lillian L. Smith, 100, of Ocala, Florida and former resident of Sebring, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 in Ocala. She was born October 1, 1909, to J.W. and Laura (Logan) Carnes in Turner County, Georgia, and lived in Sebring from 1977 until her move to Ocala in 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Sebring. She is survived by her Step-Son, Leo W. Smith, Sr., Ocala; Step-Daughter, Johnnie Mae Fulford, Port Orange, FL; numerous Nieces and Nephews; seven Grandchildren; seven Great-Grandchildren and seven Great-Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Rev. Jay McCall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Corinth Cemetery in Ft. Meade, FL will be immediately following the service.
