Lillian Mercedes Martinez

Lillian M. Martinez, age 45, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Sebring, FL. She was born on December 11, 1973 in New York, NY to John Hugh Simmons and Luisa Elena (Bernardino) Simmons. Lillian worked as a phlebotomist and was a member of Union Church in Avon Park, FL.  Survivors include her Mother - Luisa Elena Simmons of Avon Park, FL; Daughter-Felicita Nieves of Avon Park, FL; Sons-Christian Nieves of Avon Park, FL; Samuel Martinez of Avon Park, FL; Calvin Martinez of Wyoming; Sister-Lisa Fowler (Chris Short) of Avon Park, FL; Brother-Orlando Antonio Delvillar of New York; Samuel (Esther) Delvillar of New York; Pablo (Ali) Delvillar of New York; Angel (Vicky) Delvillar of New York; Granddaughter - Ainsley Martinez; and companion Jose Pizarro.  Lillian was preceded in death by her Father- John Hugh Simmons and Brother - Bobby Delvillar. A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Union Church in Avon Park with family receiving friends at 12:00 pm and services to begin at 1:00 p.m.
