Lillian Ruth Delgado

Lillian Ruth Delgado, born on May 20, 1949, in Bronx, NY, to the late Jose and Blanca Delgado, passed away on July 31, 2024, in Sebring, FL. She recently relocated to Sebring from Brooklyn, NY, embracing a new chapter in her life after a long and distinguished career as a Vice President in City Government.

Lillian is survived by her sister, Lynette Delgado, and her cherished nephews, Brian Velez, Luis Velez and their families. She is also survived by her dear friend, Edgar Moncreif. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, intelligence, kindness, and love, touching the lives of many with her generous spirit.

Lillian had a passion for music, especially her vinyl records, with Barbara Streisand, the Bee Gees, and Diana Ross being her favorites. Her interest in politics was profound, often finding her engaged with the latest news. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of playing cards and was known for her remarkable mathematical abilities. Lillian found joy in traveling, particularly in taking cruises, and reading.  She had a special place in her heart for her beloved cats.

Her life was a testament to the values she held dear, and her memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
