Lewis Norman Guy, 83, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away on February 17, 2025. He was born on November 26, 1941, in Hopewell, VA, to the late Kenneth and Virginia Guy.
Lewis proudly served in the United States Air Force as a chemist in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Following his service, he pursued a career as a skilled tile setter, working on both commercial and residential projects.
Eight years ago, Lewis relocated from Lake City, FL, to Lake Placid, FL, where he enjoyed his later years surrounded by family and friends. A passionate sports fan, he cheered faithfully for the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Hurricanes. He found joy in fishing and cherished his time spent at the Caribbean Club in Key Largo, FL, a place that held many fond memories for him. Above all, Lewis deeply valued the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his devoted children, Michael W. Guy (Sheila) of Live Oak, FL, and Michele Lee McCarthy of Seabreeze, FL; his brother, John Guy (Sherry) of Lake Placid, FL, and sister, Eileen of AL; and three beloved grandchildren.
Lewis will be remembered for his love of family, and the kindness he shared with those around him.
