Lester Marion "Tinker" Bennett

Lester Marion “Tinker” Bennett, age 73, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born on May 13, 1944 to the late Vernon W. and Elouise (McDavid) Bennett.  Tinker was a veteran serving with the U.S. Air Force Canine Unit.  He was the owner of Bennett Electrical Services in Sebring where he was devoted to his work.  Tinker enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.  He is survived by his daughters: Monika Prestwood (Jay) of Soddy Daisy, TN; Michelle Kelley (Steve) of Soddy Daisy, TN; Leslie Bennett (Jason) of Bradenton, FL; brother: Vernon “Butch” Bennett, Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL and seven Grandchildren; Peri, Mitchell, Cole, Dylan, Chloe, Anthony “AJ” and Santana.  Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Connie (Elder) Bennett.  There will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m.
