Lesa Powers Simmonds

Lesa Powers Simmonds, age 61, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was born on February 23, 1965, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to Roy and Rita (Malantanio) Powers. Lesa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family above all else. She loved coloring and expressing her creativity through art, enjoyed spending time at the beach, and never passed up an opportunity to go shopping. Lesa was a hardworking, outgoing woman whose warm personality and beautiful smile could light up any room. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, love, and infectious spirit, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, David Simmonds; her beloved daughters, Jennifer Lynn Macrina and Jeanine Marie Macrina, both of Sebring, Florida; her sister, Michele Powers Churley (Anthony); her brother, Michael Powers(Lizann); her cherished grandchildren, Angelina, Kayden, Nicoliah, Aliyah, Tristen, and Bryson; and her two great-grandchildren, Ilariaand Athina. Lesa was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Rita Powers, and her brother, Glenn Steven Powers. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
