Leonard H. "Jack" Handley was called to his heavenly home on March 5, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years Sandra Weaver Handley, his children, Stacey Lawson; Roxanne (Joe) Leach; James (Frances) Handley; Jack (Elizabeth) Handley, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, all of California. His stepchildren Darian Dumont; Dusty (Stephanie) Davis; Drew (Marylou) Davis, five grandchildren: Taylor (Mandy) Davis; Andrea Davis; Sarah (Alex) Rivard; George Dumont; Callie (Cory) Kvartec, and two great grandchildren: Payton and Weston Davis. Born and raised in Tustin, California served in the Navy during WWII. He earned a BA degree at University of California, Berkley where he was a member of the football team (a three time Rose Bowl participant) and a member of Alpha Lambda Chi fraternity. Moving to Sebring in 1970, he dealt in Commercial Development and Finance and was a Realtor. Jack was an avid sports fan; fisherman and loved time in the mountains; but his grandchildren and great grandchildren topped all of these. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church; (where he was an active member) March 14, 2015 at 2:00pm with the visitation at 1:00pm.
