Lelon "Lee" A. Young

Lelon “Lee” A. Young, age 90, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022.  He was born March 13, 1931, in Hopkinsville, KY to Holbert and Lola (Johnson) Young.  Lee was the Owner & Operator of Young’s Gulf gas station, member of 59 years of First Baptist Church of Avon Park where he served as a Deacon for 30+ years, and has been a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1958, coming from Hialeah, FL.  He is survived by his Wife - Camille Young of Avon Park, FL; Daughters – Tara L. Young of Nashville, TN; Linda Wood Rodriguez of Sebring, FL; Sons – Daniel Wood (Debbie) of Bluffton, SC; Jim Wood (Debbie) of Avon Park, FL; Brothers – John Young of KY; Fred Young (Nancy) of KY; 12 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Avon Park with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM.  Entombment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice or First Baptist Church of Avon Park.
