Lawrence Vernon Smith, born on December 12, 1946, in Minneapolis, MN, passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 77. He was the beloved son of the late Charles and Lorraine Smith.
Lawrence is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Smith; his two cherished daughters, Cheri McKinley (Jay) of Stephen City, VA, and Kathi Jo Mustica (Michael) of Mountainside, NJ; and his adored grandchildren, Christian Londos (Evelyn) of Cape Coral, NJ, and Joseph Bryant of Mountainside, NJ. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A talented and driven salesman, Lawrence worked as a sales representative in the food industry, where he found immense joy in negotiating and closing deals. His charisma and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional life, Lawrence was an active member of the Sebring Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and pickleball.
An avid outdoorsman, Lawrence loved the thrill of snowmobiling and spending time in nature. He also had a passion for performing and was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, which brought joy to those around him. His fun-loving, outgoing personality made him the life of every gathering, and his enthusiasm for life was infectious.
Lawrence will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the kindness, humor, and warmth he shared with everyone he met. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
