LAWRENCE BERNARD GOW, JR. Lawrence Bernard Gow, Jr., 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010, in Sebring. He was born August 19, 1926, to Lawrence Bernard and Beulah (Campbell) Gow in Chicago, Illinois, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1985, coming from Muscatine, Iowa. He was a Store Manager for Sherwin Williams Paint Store and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy on an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific. He had attended St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring and was an avid square dance caller for over 40 years in the Midwest and Southeast. He is survived by his Wife of 65 years, Marcella Jean Gow of Sebring; Children, Tom (Janis) Gow, Greer, S.C.; Cyndi (Pete) Spinden, Brentwood, TN and Tim (Vicki) Gow, Greer, S.C.; Brother, Jim Gow and Sister, Margaret Nolan, both of Chicago, IL; five Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a Daughter, Laura Gow and Grandson, Eric Gow. Memorial Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Rev.
