Lawrence Edward Ford, Jr., age 87, of Sebring, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He was born February 22, 1926 in Sarasota, Florida to Lawrence Edward & Juanita Callie (Alderman) Ford, Sr. He was a Farmer and a Rancher, of Baptist Faith, served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, and has been a lifelong resident of Highlands County and also DeSoto County. He is survived by his Wife of 66 years - Hazel Albritton Ford of Sebring, FL; Daughters - Sandra Ford Hill (Ira) - of Sebring, FL; Cheryl Ford Sparks of Sebring, FL; Diane Pierce (Donald) of Lake Wales, FL; Sons - Lawrence "Larry" E. Ford, III (Barbara) of Sebring, FL; Donald R. Ford (Candee) of Sebring, FL; Frank T. Ford (Robin) of Ft. Myers, FL; Brother - Ray Ford of Lake Placid, FL; 14 Grandchildren; and 20 Great Grandchildren. He has been preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers - Jerry Ford and Richard Ford, and a Sister - Dorothy Longmire. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Joshua Creek Cemetery in Arcadia, Florida. Memorial contributions may be in memory of Lawrence E.
