Lawrence Eugene Battles

Lawrence Eugene Battles, age 87, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on June 10, 1927 in Medina, Ohio to the late John and Frances (Kling) Battles. Lawrence had been a resident of Florida for 20 years coming from North Carolina. A member of Heartland Christian Church he enjoyed working puzzles, playing golf and watching sports on TV. He was a veteran in the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. Lawrence is survived by his wife Hildreth Battles of Sebring, FL, children: David (Pam) Battles; John (Cindy) Battles and Patricia (Robert) Appleton, eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, two sisters: Mary Walker and Viola Higgins.
