 In Loving Memory of Lauren Michelle Welfley 

 Lauren Michelle Welfley, born on May 4, 1983, left this world on December 29, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, whose vibrant and gregarious spirit touched the lives of those around her. 

 Lauren is survived by her mother, Pamela Welfley, her sister, Joanna Welfley, and her brothers, Christopher Welfley and Thomas E. Welfley. Lauren is preceded by her father, Thomas L. Welfley III. 

 A Florida native, Lauren spent her life developing an intense love for the ocean and the natural beauty of its many waterways. She found solace and joy in the rhythm of the waves and the warmth of the sand. Her passion for swimming and fishing allowed her to connect with the water on a profound level. 

 Fishing was not just a hobby for Lauren; it was a reflection of her curiosity and appreciation for nature. Whether casting her line from boat or shore, she experienced serenity in the simple act of being outdoors and enjoying the world around her. 

 Animals also held a special place in Lauren's heart, with a particular fondness for the many dogs she befriended, cared for, and loved. Her compassion extended to the well-being of all creatures, and she advocated for their appreciation, care, and protection throughout her life. 

 Lauren will be remembered for the love, kindness, laughter, and warmth she brought to those who had the privilege of knowing her. Though there will not be a traditional funeral, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
