Larry Kay Rasco Sr, 73, passed away on October 27, 2020 in Sebring, FL. He was born on December 25, 1946 in Irving, TX, to Eaph Rasco and Callie (Eidson) Rasco. He had been a Florida resident since February 2020, formerly living in Manor, TX. Larry was of the Christian faith and served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. Larry was a Sergeant in the military. He had the best sense of humor and kept the love of his life laughing for 53 years. In his younger days he enjoyed playing softball and bowling and later became a level seven member of the Pool Players Associations and was also a member of the Moose Lodge. He loved God and witnessed to everyone he came into contact with. He was an avid reader of the bible and the spiritual leader of our family. He enjoyed fishing, his tractor, gardening and taking care of his lawn. He is survived by his loving wife, Luzviminda; children - Larry K. (Michelle) Rasco, Jr. of Calhan, CO; Leslie K. (Prescott) Cook of Austin, TX; Teressa M. (Jason) Huckabee of Richmond, TX; Sabrina (Uber) Soto of AK; Jeremy Smith Rasco of Elgin, TX. Surviving are also 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will take place at 2:00pm at Sarasota National Cemetery with military honors.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL with Orlando Collazo officiating.
The service will also be streamed on Facebook live.
