Larry Eugene Holloway, 83, passed away November 6, 2025, in Sebring, FL. Larry was born October 9, 1942, in Salem, OH, a son of the late Lloyd and Wilma Holloway.

Larry graduated from Leetonia High School in Leetonia, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and his graduate degree from American University. He served his country in the United States Army for 4 years, served during the Vietnam war. He worked for the US Government in Illinois and later settled in Columbia, MD, where he worked for the US Government in Washington D.C. He worked in Human Resource Management in the State of Maryland and enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

After graduating from Youngstown State University (ROTC) he entered the Army as 2nd Lieutenant, before leaving the Army he became a Captain and an Aid to a General. Larry truly loved his career and was dedicated.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother Gail Holloway, youngest brother, Jay Holloway.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cheryl Dermotta Holloway, daughter, Catherine Holloway of Munhall, Pennsylvania; his son, Andrew Holloway of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; two step-daughters, Gina (Mark) Ellington of Aberdeen, NC, Tina (Adam) Krauss of Aberdeen, NC; 9 grandchildren, Allyson Connelly, Jack Connelly, Ryan Connelly, Tyler Walsh, Hunter Walsh, Colin Ellington, Cameron Ellington, Rebecca Abad and Gabriella Holloway, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss Larry.

Larry’s burial will be at a Military Ceremony in Salisbury, NC.
