Larry Gene Delaplane

Larry Gene Delaplane, age 72, passed away on November 27, 2014, in Sebring, Florida. He was born on June 21, 1942, in Greenville, Ohio to the Late Frank and Margaret (Fourman) Delaplane. Larry was a Catholic by faith, he loved woodworking, painting cars and riding on his golf cart. He loved his two pets, Robert his African grey parrot and Andy his rat terrier but most of all loved spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Carnahan Delaplane; step-son, Richard (Jennifer) Carnahan; step-grandchildren, Ashlee and Meghan Carnahan and Charlotte and Josephine Carnahan. Brothers, Steve (Elaine) Delaplane and Forrest (Carol) Delaplane and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service on Friday, December 5, 2014 with Father Nicholas McLoughlin officiating, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home of Sebring. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm and the service will begin at 1:00pm.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
