He worked full time during the day and went to night school achieving a degree in Physics. He had a very successful Career in avionics and received many accolades for his work. Lamar was a humble man who was loved and respected by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. After living away for most of his life, Lamar moved back to Frostproof, Florida six years ago to spend time with his sisters and fish with his brothers. He loved his time on the boat fishing, talking and keeping track of which one of them caught the most fish. Lamar was fortunate to have been on the lake fishing, just four days before he passed. Lamar was caring, generous, funny, companionate and a loving man. He will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.
In lieu of flowers, Lamar would appreciate donations being made to his favorite animal rescue shelter, Halo. Lamar loved animals and was a regular donor to Halo. Please go to Halo web site to make donations. HTTPS://www.halorescue.org
