Kirk Ashley Thompson

Kirk Ashley Thompson Jr., age 37, of Avon Park, Florida was called home on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in Lakeland Florida. Kirk was born on March 9, 1987, to his loving parents, Kirk and Eva Thompson in Port Huron, Michigan. Kirk was a certified Arborist and the owner of a tree service business. Kirk enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fresh and saltwater fisherman and was a certified scuba diver. He also enjoyed watching baseball, football, and basketball. His favorite teams were the NFL Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan’s College Football team. Kirk was loved and cherished by so many people and though he had many hobbies, his favorite part of life was being a father to his three children.

Kirk is preceded in passing by his grandpa and grandma Cole, His grandma Gillespie, and his uncle Wayne. He is survived by his parents Kirk and Eva Thompson, sisters; Amy Peters and Charlotte Edwards, son; Austin Kirk Thompson, daughters; Alejandra Eva Thompson and Emelia Elizabeth Thompson, significant other; Tina Drevermann, niece; Ashley, and nephews; Jason, Tay, Jr, and Jayden.

Kirk touched the lives of everyone he met and will be dearly missed.
