Kevin M. Megno, Sr.

Kevin M. Megno, Sr., 55, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in Sebring. He was born to Joseph and Glennis (Craig) Megno on November 10, 1957 in Millinocket, Maine, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2000, coming from Maine. He was a Deputy Sheriff with the Highlands County Sheriff's Department and was employed as the School Resource Officer at Avon Park Middle School. He was of the Catholic faith; enjoyed riding motorcycles and he loved his Harley. He was a member of the Blue Knights; the Moose Lodge; the Elks; the American Legion Riders and ABATE and was a loving father and grandfather. Kevin is survived by his fiancé; Deborah Harris of Sebring; children, Kevin, Jr. (and Sandy); Danielle; Tony (and Jamie) and David; eight grandchildren; brother, Frank (and Linda); sisters, Kelly (and Michael) and Tina (and Harry). Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, with Father Jose Gonzalez officiating. A Reception will follow the service at 5614 North Key, Sebring, FL 33875.
