Kenneth Ellsworth Pilcher

September 18, 1955 — December 2, 2014

Kenneth Ellsworth Pilcher Kenneth Ellsworth Pilcher, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born on September 18, 1955 in Martinsburg, West Virginia to the late Clifton Ellsworth and Willie Mae (Gordon) Pilcher. Kenneth recently moved to Avon Park from Maryland. He loved shopping for tools, bowling, shooting pool, and collecting things. He is survived by his beloved twin sister: Peggy Wells of Florida, sisters: Virginia Smith of Maryland, Barbara Easterday of Ohio, brothers: Charles Pilcher of South Carolina, Tom Pilcher of Vermont, Boyd Pilcher of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. In his final days, he went peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. We will forever miss his outspoken sense of humor and the way his smile lit up the room. May you gracefully & forever rest in peace. You will forever be loved, missed, and always in our hearts. Special Thank You from our entire family to Cornerstone Hospice for your compassion and services during this difficult time. Your care made his passing peaceful. God's Garden God looked around his garden And found an empty place He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace bethine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Arrangements Entrusted To: Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home 111 E. Circle St. Avon Park, FL 33825 863-453-3101 www.stephensonnelsonfh.com
