KENNETH THOMAS OLSON Kenneth Thomas Olson, 88, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in Sebring, FL. He was born November 23, 1922, to Joseph and Cecilia B. (Thompson) Olson in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and had been a resident of Florida since 1997, coming from Highland, Michigan. He was a tool maker in the automobile manufacturing industry, working for Chrysler and then General Motors, retiring from there. He served in the Canadian Army during World War II and in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era. He was a member of The Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Highland, Michigan. He is survived by his children, Thomas (Rosewitha) Olson, Beaverton, MI; Donald (Diane) Olson, Oxnard, CA; Laura (Richard) Jacobs, Owosso, MI; Richard (Laura) Olson, White Lake, MI; Douglas (Sheila) Olson, White Lake, MI; Mary K. (Douglas) Sutton, Fenton, MI; Edward (Margaret) Olson, Rock Hills, MI; Anne Woodring, Owosso, MI; William (Lisa) Olson, Shelby Township, MI; Lloyd James Jim (Heidi) Olson, Cypress, TX and Joseph Olson, Waterford, MI; 31 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Highland, MI.
