Kenneth “Ken” D. Harrington

Kenneth “Ken” D. Harrington, age 75, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.  He was born July 10, 1946 in Jamestown, NY to William D. and Wanda M. (Sokolowski) Harrington.  Ken worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator, was of Roman Catholic Faith, and before moving to Florida in 2017, was a resident of Chesterfield, MI since 2001.  He is survived by his Daughters - Lyndsie Cook of Flushing, MI; Jaime Hopko (Andrew) of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI; Son – Chad Harrington of Warren, MI; Brother – Michael Harrington of New Baltimore, MI; Sister – Denise Crabtree of New Baltimore, MI; and 5 Grandchildren.  Ken spoke fondly of his construction days and after retiring in 1993, he opened up his own grill rental business.  He was kind, always made sure everyone around him was taken care of, and was the best dad around.  He will be forever missed.
