Kenneth Murphy Haney

Kenneth Murphy Haney (aka “Kenny”), age 76, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 26, 1947 to Walter and Barbara (Ashley) Haney.

Ken loved his job as a marketing manager at Varian Medical Systems and proudly served in the US Navy when he was seventeen years old.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, BBQing (fire beans), and spending time with family.  He loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. He also enjoyed telling stories and showing off his impressive man cave full of tools.

Ken is survived by his Wife – Linda Haney of Sebring, FL; Children – Jeremy (Heather); Tim (Paulinha); Shyloh Brown (Rodney); Shelley Davis (Jonathon); Shauna Elggren; Siblings – Cheryl Griffith (Benny); Debbie Saunders (Guilford); Sandy Brouillard (Ron); Grandchildren - Kayla (Thomas), Alyssa (Bruce), Grace, Ashley (Cameron), Jack, Brayden, Leah, Parker, Christian, Andrew, Cameron, Alanna, Evan; one Great-Grandchild - Sophia Wren; and many many cherished friends.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters Amy Haney and Katie Olarte Haney.  A memorial will be held Friday, September 8, 11:00, at Utah Veterans Cemetery, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065, (801) 254-9036.  Flowers may be sent to this location.
