Kenneth E. Gainous

Kenneth E. Gainous, age 61 passed away Saturday, March 13, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. He was born in Vienna, Georgia to Roy and Vera (King) Gainous. He was the owner/operator of a welding company, graduated from Avon Park High School in 1968, member and deacon of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, served in the United States Navy and had been a lifelong resident of Highlands County. He is survived by his wife-Elaine Gainous of Avon Park, Florida; son-Kenny Gainous (Carla) of Lake Placid, Florida; daughters-Jennifer Bryan of Winter Haven, Florida and Kristy Ogburn (Doug) of Avon Park, Florida; sisters-Mary Lunsford of Avon Park, Florida, Sandra Overstreet of Douglas, Georgia and Sissy Carlton of Douglas, Georgia; brother-Buddy Gainous of Arcadia, Florida; 2 grandchildren-Nathan Bryan and Kati Ogburn. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (1 hour prior to service) at the Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church with funeral beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
