KENNETH E. DOTSON Kenneth E. Dotson, 95, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Monday, April 26, 2010, in Sebring. He was born November 25, 1914, to Elmer and Nellie (Siewert) Dotson in Selma, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1972, coming from Anderson, Indiana. He was the owner and operator of a service station and wrecker service in Anderson; was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring; Moose Lodge in Anderson, IN and a former member of the Sebring Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Maxine I. Modlin Dotson, married 45 years on April 24, 2010; son, Larry Dotson, Anderson, IN; step-son, Max I. (Doris) Modlin, Richmond, VA; sisters, Margaret Jones, Indianapolis, IN; Evelyn (Jim) Ferguson, Parker, IN and Gladys (Paul) Hiles, Muncie, IN; brother, Earl Dotson, Anderson, IN; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at St. John United Methodist Church, Sebring, Rev. Ron DeGenaro, Jr. officiating, with entombment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL, immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his memory to St. John United Methodist Church, 3214 Grand Prix Dr., Sebring, Fl 33872.
