Kenneth Lee Cunningham, age 77, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 in Sebring, Florida. He was born July 20, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Edward W. and Emily J. Cunningham. He had been a resident since 1958 coming from Atlanta, GA, was of the Baptist faith, and was a veteran of the US Marines serving in Vietnam. Kenneth worked as a postal employee for 24 years, was a Highlands County Deputy Sheriff and a member of the Sebring Police Department. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1972, serving as a past Master of the Lake Placid Lodge, a member of the Highlands Shrine Club, Egypt Temple, and was a 32-degree Mason. Kenneth is survived by his Son – Kevin Cunningham (Deborah) of Sebring, FL; two Grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Kyle Cunningham, and Nicole Bryant (Axton); and Sister – Gloria Davidson (Kelly) of Avon Park, FL. Kenneth also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife of 49 years – Karen L. Cunningham (Kenyon); Son – Kenneth L. “Rusty” Cunningham Jr; and Brother – Danny Cunningham (Paula). Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery.
