Kenneth Harry Chaundy, 75, of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, in Tampa, FL. He was born May 25, 1936, to Harry and Katie (Wheary) Chaundy in Shamokin, PA and had been a Winter Resident of Sebring, FL since 1999. He was employed in wholesale sales and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during peacetime. He attended First United Methodist Church of Sebring; was a member of Lions International and enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting and especially Penn State football. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Rita) Chaundy, Eldersburg, MD and Thomas (Tammy) Chaundy, Sebring; sisters, Shirley Shumberger and Doris Tyler, both of PA; brother, Dennis Chaundy, PA and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judith Ann Chaundy; two sisters, Florence Hauck and Norma Heim and a brother, Robert Chaundy. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Sebring with Rev. A.C. Bryant officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
