Kenneth John Bitler

Kenneth "Butch" Bitler, age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Sebring, Florida. He was born in Coaldale, PA on July 12, 1936 to the late Kenneth and Catherine (Boyle) Bitler. Kenneth had been a resident of Avon Park since 2003, having come from Bethlehem, PA. He served in the Marines during Peacetime and was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Kenneth enjoyed playing golf, painting, woodcarving, and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Marcella (Hart) Bitler; his son: Kenneth D. Bitler and his wife Joan of Bethlehem, PA, daughters: Marcella Sohara of Bethlehem, PA, Catherine Lee of Haines City, FL, and Donna Gallagher and her husband Tim of Westford, MA; sister, Karen D. Jones of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren: Tiffany and Danielle Bitler; Heather and Joseph Sohara; Jesse and Landrie Lee; Morganne and Madison Gallagher; and great-granddaughter Bridget McFadden. Kenneth was predeceased by his sisters Mildred Girard and Marianne Bitler; and brothers Donald and Robert.
