Keith Allen Meier, age 98, went to be with the Lord on July 13 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on December 15, 1925, in Knox, Pennsylvania to John Meier and Ila Groce. Keith had been a Highlands County resident since 2006. He was a member of St John United Methodist Church in Sebring, Florida.
Keith was a Corporal in the Army Air Corp, honorably discharged on June 26, 1946. Keith loved playing euchre and bridge and dining out with friends.
He is survived by sons, Tim A.(Pam) Meier of Kennesaw, GA; Thomas K. (Terri) Meier of Folsom, CA; Kirk J. (Colleen) Meier of Troy, OH; Gregg R. Meier of Thailand; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Carmichael Meier; his parents; sister, Virginia Davis; brothers, Paul, Merl and Dean Meier.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 7:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation at 6:00 PM. The burial will be at the National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL
