Kaye DiSanto, age 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at her home in Tanglewood. She was born on June 27, 1942 to William and Helen (Hanson) Lawrence in White Plains, NY. She was educated at Our Lady of Good Council. She was the former owner and operator along with her husband of The Italian Food Center in Yonkers, NY, Gateway News Stand in Scranton PA and Bagels and Such in Margate, FL. Her many close friends and loved ones enjoyed her baking and companionship. Kaye enjoyed traveling, gardening, as well as a fondness for collecting Hummels and Owls. She was a resident of Sebring since 2005 coming from South Florida. She is survived by her husband, John P. DiSanto of Sebring; sons, Joe Banscher (Rose Marie) and John Banscher (Eileen); step-children, Kevin DiSanto (Lorraine), Michael DiSanto (Sandra) and Debra DiSanto Johnson (Brett); Grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna and Amber Banscher, Brian, Matthew, Sarah, Nicholas, and Alexandra DiSanto, Devin and Kelsie Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews as well as Pat Girillo. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Lawrence, Wadsworth "Buddy" Reynolds and Roy Reynolds (Charlotte); her sisters, Anne Gurnee and Pat Lawrence (Closser). Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Stephenson-Nelson Chapel with Rev. Ken Geren officiating.
