GOD'S ANGEL ON EARTH 1928 - 2012 Katie Rewis Moseley, 83,of Avon Park , Fl went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2012. She fought a courageous fight with thyroid cancer, closed her eyes and opened them to loved ones shouting " She's here. Come see. Katie's home." She was born to Owen and Nancy (Horton) Jones in Lyons,GA on August 7th ,1928. She was a life long member of Sanctuary Church of God in Avon Park, Fl. And Christian Life Fellowship, Moore, OK. She was a living example of God's love to all she met and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by Rudolph (Doc) Rewis, beloved father of her children and Sol Moseley, second love of her life. She was survived by her children - Carolyn Dawson (Joe) of Oklahoma City, OK; Charles Rewis (Michele) of Erie, CO; Nelson Miller of Bethany, OK; Barbara Trice (Jim) of Sebring, Fl.; S Y Moseley (Lynn) of Avon Park, FL: Martha Pendrak (Gary) of Avon Park, FL; she was preceded in death by one son, David Rewis. She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Floris Black - Bradenton, Fl; Annie Ruth Jones - Sebring, Fl; Nancy Faye Bryant (Joe) - Sebring, Fl; brother J.O. Jones (Loraine) - Polk City, FL; and 131 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Alton Jones & A.G. Jones; 3 sisters - Mazie Wells, Cilla Cotton, and Reba Young A gathering of family & friends will take place Friday, June 21, 2012 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 22, 2012 at 3:00pm at The Sanctuary Church of God in Avon Park with Pastor Jeff Holt, Pastor Ron Zimmer, and Pastor Gene A. Smith officiating followed by internment at Bougainvillea Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to The Cancer Society, a Church or a Charity of your choice.
