Kathleen M. Leggett

Kathleen M. Leggett, 100, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Sebring. She was born October 24, 1912, to Jessie Inman and Catherine (Sears) Mitchell in Wheeler County, Georgia, and had been wintering in Sebring since 2001, from North Carolina. She was employed as a seamstress in men's tailoring and was a member of First Congregational Church of Hendersonville, North Carolina. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James H. Leggett, Sr. and is survived by her son, James Leggett of Sebring; daughter, Nancy Leggett Spring of Texas; several nieces and nephews and her loving dog "Poozu".
