Kathleen Gray Dressel

Kathleen Gray Dressel, age 57, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Sebring, Fl. She was born at Walker Memorial Hospital on December 19, 1958 to Lesley and Stella Gray. Kathleen was raised in Sebring and graduated from Sebring High School. She went two years to SFCC where she received her associates in Business. She was a legal secretary for Mike Swaine, Mike Trombley, and Gary Gossett for a few years. She also worked for Highlands Abstract and Title for years. Kathleen loved the outdoors especially: Peace River, fishing, and hunting for sharks teeth. She spent many hours taking all her children plus nieces and nephews on all kinds of adventures. They all loved spending time with their favorite Aunt. She loved life and her family, especially her babies. She is survived by her children:  Ronnie (January) Elrod; Logan Dressel; Jake Dressel; Shelby Dressel; one grandchild: Cash Eldrod; siblings: Tony (Bonnie) Gray; Michelle (John) Sedlock; Robin (Andrew) Higgins; and Leslie (Steve) Copeland; step-father: Dallas Durrance; and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents. She was the kindest, loving, most giving person that anyone would have ever known. She will be sorely missed. God be with you sweet Kathy and Fly High on the wings of Angels for you are free now, no more tears in Heaven. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Union Congregational Church in Avon Park, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of your Choice in Kathleen’s name.
