Katherine Louise Carr-Moore

Kather Louise Carr-Moore, age 69, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born October 2, 1954 in Hapeville, Georgia to the late Jack Milton and Annie Sue (Harwell) Brooks.  Katherine had been a resident since 1982 coming from Haines City, FL and was of the Atonement Lutheran faith.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, Shriners, Elks, Eagles and was a true dog lover.  Katherine was a well-respected member of the law enforcement community for most of her life in Highlands and Hardee Counties and worked at Hardee Correctional as a sergeant for many years.  Katherine is survived by her Son – Chad Carr (Rachel); Siblings – Debbie, Jack, and David; as well as many nieces and nephews.
