Katherine May Alexander

Katherine May Alexander "Ms. Kaye", age 85 passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Avon Park, Florida. She was born in Pageton, West Virginia on May 17, 1927 to Payton and Stella (Mitchem) White. She was employed at McDonalds for over 20 years as a hostess and known to all as "Ms. Kaye", she moved to Avon Park in the early 1980's from Virginia Beach, Virginia after traveling the world with her husband of 54 years, Andrew Alexander, Jr., who was in the U.S. Navy. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son-Andrew Alexander, III and his fiancée-Debbie; grandchildren-Andrew Alexander, IV, Amber and Alex; 2 great grandchildren-Katherine Grace and Aariyah Chevelle. Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years-Andrew Alexander, Jr. and a son-Russell Payton Alexander.
