Karen Rose Steinlight, age 58, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Sebring, FL. She was born on November 30, 1965, in Old Bridge, NJ, the beloved daughter of the late, Robert and Barbara (Martin) Burlew. She has been a resident of Sebring since 2014, moving from Manalapan, NJ with her loving husband of twenty-nine years, Scott Steinlight.
Karen is survived by her loving children, Nicholas Steinlight of Longwood, FL; Joseph Steinlight of Toms River, NJ; and Samantha Steinlight of Sebring, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Brian Burlew (Joann) of Holly Hill, FL. She is preceded by her husband, Scott.
Karen will always be remembered for her kind heart and loving spirit. She touched the lives of many with her patience, generosity, and boundless energy. Her adventurous nature and charismatic personality made her a joy to be around, and she brought light and laughter wherever she went.
In her professional life, Karen was a talented beautician, using her creativity and skills to help others feel their best. She also had a creative flair for making costumes. Beyond her work, she was a dedicated member of the Sebring System - Train Club, actively involved in her community and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Karen's vibrant spirit shone through in her various hobbies and interests. She found solace and happiness by the beach, especially at Siesta Key. Her love for NASCAR, country music, and the New Orleans Saints reflected her fun-loving and passionate nature. Karen was known to be a pro-bowler and accomplished baker. She had a special fondness for Jell-O shots, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her.
Karen leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
