Justina Colon passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Lake Placid, Florida at the age of 76. The daughter of Joaquin Colon and Eulalia Pabon Martinez. She was born on April 13, 1947 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Justina worked as a cook in the food industry, was of Catholic faith and had been a resident of Florida for 25 years. She is survived by her loving daughter, Migdalia Interiano (Julio) of Okeechobee, Florida; sister, Ramonita Calcano of Nevada; 3 nephews, Joseph Carrasquillo of New York; Efrain Carrasquillo of California; Anthony Carrasquillo of Nevada; 2 nieces, Romona Carrasquillo and Rosemary Carrasquillo, both of New York. Also surviving is 1 grandchild, Eric Interiano (Veronica) and 1 great-grandchild, Eric Interiano Jr. Justina was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David DeJesus and a brother, Mario Martinez.
