JUNE LAURA SCHULER June Laura Schuler, 81, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 5, 1931, to Russell and Roseanne (Guzik) Channer in Detroit, Michigan and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 1992, coming from Michigan. She was a homemaker and an artist; was a dog breeder and enjoyed playing tennis. She also was involved in working to place old buildings on the National Historic Register. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Benedetti of San Diego, CA and Susan Pizzuto and her husband James Pagel of Fairview, Oregon and a sister, Carol Etherton of Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Schuler in 2003.
