Julia Jackson Earnest

Julia Jackson Earnest, age 98, of Sebring, FL passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born on August 16, 1915 in Andalusia, Alabama to John R. and Susie Jackson. She served along side her husband as a minister's wife for over 49 years. She was a member of the Florida Avenue Baptist Church of Avon Park. She loved serving the Lord and has been an example of God's love to many. Mrs. Earnest has been a resident of Sebring, FL since 1978. A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her Daughters - Theresa Dampier (Kenneth) of Sebring, FL; Sue Allison (Paul) of Avon Park, FL; Hilda Purvis (Ed) of Bradenton, FL; Freda Hoffman (Bob) of Sebring, FL; 9 Grandchildren - Terrie Booth, Keith Dampier, Ronda Wirries, Shane Wirries, Paul Allison, Jr., Julie Gierhart, Jeremy Purvis, Robyn von Merveldt, Rachel Hayes; 21 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Florida Avenue Baptist Church in Avon Park, FL with the family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Wauchula Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Denton Baptist Association Camp, c/o First Baptist Church of Lake Placid, 119 E.
