Juana Rosario-Rivera

Juana Rosario-Rivera, age 71, passed away on Thursday, May 30,2024 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born on August 23, 1952 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico the daughter of Juan Rosario and Rosalia Rivera.

Jauna’s warm presence and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her devotion to her family was unwavering. Juana is survived by her loving husband, Jose Nunez. Her legacy of love and resilience lives on through her three sons, Carlos Garcia of Nebraska, Héctor Ivan Garcia of New Jersey, and Jose Garcia of Florida.

Juana’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith, kindness, and love. Her deep faith in God was a guiding light throughout her life, evident in her active participation in the Primera Iglesia Discipulos de Cristo, where she was a cherished member. Juana dedicated her time to various church events, taught Sunday school classes, and served as a team leader in the church kitchen.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Primera Iglesia Discipulos de Cristo, on 3700 Schumacher Rd Sebring, FL, on Thursday, June 6, 2024 as we gather to honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Juana Rosario-Rivera. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The funeral service at 12:00PM, with Graveside at Bougainvillea Cemetery to follow.

Juana's legacy of love and service will live on through the memories she created with her family and the impact she made in her community. May she rest in peace, knowing she was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
