Juan Lopez-Vazquez

Juan Lopez Vazquez, born on July 9, 1957, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, passed away on September 18, 2024, in Sebring, Florida, at the age of 67. He was the beloved son of the late Ancelmo Lopez and Tomasa Vazquez.

He dedicated his life to his family, his faith, and his work, embodying qualities of strength, kindness, and love in all that he did. As a crew leader in the agriculture industry, Juan spent his days working outdoors, a passion that connected him deeply with nature and provided for those he cherished most.  He was a faithful member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, where he found solace and community. Juan’s greatest pride and joy was his family.

Juan is survived by his loving wife, Ma Victoria Lopez Rico, and his cherished Children Tomasa Lopez Rico, Maribel Lopez Rico, Ulises Lopez Rico, Julisa Lopez Rico, Juan Lopez Rico, and Yolanda Lopez Rico. He is preceded in death by his parents..

Juan will be remembered as a loving family man, a pillar of strength, and a kind soul who touched the lives of those who knew him. His legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.  May he rest in peace.

A visitation service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, located at 111 E Circle Street, Avon Park, FL. The funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 820 Hickory Street, Sebring, FL, with a graveside service to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
