Joyce E. Strader, age 90, of Sebring, FL, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born in Elwood, Indiana on May 26, 1927 to Cliff and Olive (Scholl) Garrett. She came to Sebring from Naperville, IL and had been a resident since 1985. Joyce worked as a Bank Trust Officer, attended the Horizon Christian Church of Valrico, FL as well as the First United Methodist Church of Sebring. She is survived by her Son – Gary Strader (Mary) of Riverview, FL; Grandchildren – Erin, Karla, Monica; 5 Great Grandchildren – Mariah, Hailey, Makayla, Silas, and Katarina. She is preceded in death by her Husband – Kenneth Strader. As a long-term resident of Sebring she developed many friendships which she considered her greatest treasure besides her family. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Avon Park in Joyce’s name.
