Joyce Corrina Hayes

Joyce Corrina Hayes, age 73, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023.  She was born on February 4, 1950 in Okeechobee, Florida to Jim and Veda (Carter) Yates.  She was a Homemaker, member of Bible Fellowship Church, and has been a lifelong resident of Highlands County.  Joyce is survived by her Daughter – Barbara Hazlegrove of Avon Park, FL; Sons – Jimmy Hayes of Sebring, FL; Ray Smith Carr of Mississippi; Brother – Jim “Buddy” Yates of Okeechobee, FL; 11 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband – Robert Hayes; Daughter – Patty Hayes; and 14 Siblings.
