Josian Gonzalez, age 39, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on August 23, 1981 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to Juan and Evelyn (Santiago) Gonzalez. He had been a Florida resident since 1993, formerly living in Fort Benning, Georgia. Josian worked as a mechanic and served his country in the US Army during Operation Enduring Freedom. He is survived by his parents of Sebring, Florida; grandmother – Ernestina Gonzalez of Sebring, Florida; wife – Lisa (Collins) Gonzalez; daughters – Hayven Gonzalez of Sebring, Florida; Madison Gonzalez of Poinciana, Florida; sisters – Tayna Taylor (Chris) of Sebring Florida; Jean Stamey (David) of Winter Haven, Florida; and all his nieces and nephews, and extended family that loved him dearly. A private burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors at 12:30pm on Friday April 30, 2021.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Grace Bible Church, Sebring, Florida. Visitation will be held at 10:00am followed by the service at 11:00am.
