JOSEPH G. THORNE Joseph G. Thorne, age 91, passed away on May 5, 2012 in Canton, GA. He was born February 24, 1921 in Plainfield, NJ to Henry W. and Julia (Emmons) Thorne. He was a supervisor with the telephone company, member of the American Legion, served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and had been a resident of Jasper, GA, for the past year, formerly of Sebring, FL. He is survived by his Sons - Joseph G. Thorne, II of Jasper, GA and Daniel D. Thorne of Jesup, GA; four Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
